Bella Diva Trio combines the talents of three beautiful, award winning opera singers: Lisa EdenShana Oshiro, and Kacey Cardin, into a unique blend of music drawn from both classical and current influences, best described as operatic pop.  The dream of Bella Diva was inspired by the seedling idea to reach beyond the boundaries that separate classical music from the contemporary audience.  As classically trained artists, these singers have the desire to present the highest caliber of vocal expression, infused with colors of the contemporary.  The ultimate goal of Bella Diva is to share this eclectic vision of classical singing with the world!

Accomplished sultry soprano, Shana Oshiro, is a highly versatile vocal artist, specializing in classical voice with a background in musical theater, gospel, spirituals, and jazz.  In addition to performing more broadly in concert recitals, Shana has also performed with Opera Philadelphia in productions of Porgy and Bess and Margaret Garner, starring mezzo-soprano, Denyce Graves.  Crowned Miss Maryland in 2007, Shana was featured on TLC’s broadcast of Miss America: Reality Check and the live telecast of the Miss America pageant.  During her reign as Miss Maryland, she advocated the platform, “The Importance of Music Education and Support of the Arts,” volunteering in Baltimore schools to supplement lacking music programs.  Shana also has a passion for travel, and has studied abroad in Florence, Italy for Italian language and advanced vocal study, and in Weimar, Germany, performing with the Lyric Opera Studio.

An artist of “. . . remarkable stage presence and unfettered emotional expression,” soprano Kacey Cardin has quickly made a name for herself as a versatile singer actres whose voice has the rare capability to shine equally in operatic, musical theater, pop, country, and R&B genres.  In October 2012 she was featured on CMT’s “Redneck Rehab” with Tom Arnold, a reality show about “fabulous city girls” originally raised in the south who are reunited with their “country roots,” giving Kacey a chance to show off not only her vocal talent, but a little southern charm and an adventurous spirit! In addition to numerous appearances as an “opera rockstar” on the CBS radio show, “Rocks Chicks Live,” she has performed in multiple productions with Opera Company of Brooklyn and has been a featured artist on the Musaic Concert Series. Whether singing opera electronica, or in a sci-fi musical at the New York Fringe Festival, Kacey commands the stage with a captivating presence and a rich lyric sound.
